AUCTION IS OVER.

I'm sure so many of you have heard about Stephanie and Christian Nielson. I feel like every time I get on the internet, I hear more about their sweet story. Well, I've finally taken the time to get the ball rolling for a couple of auctions I'd like to host in support of their family. If you don't know the story, you can find it here. Stephanie is the author and creator of the nienie dialogues - a very cute blog. I think they have an adorable family and can't help but feel that emotional connection and urgency to help. Designmom has created a master list of all the auctions going on (believe me, there are a TON of super cool auctions going on all over the place!) and is keeping track so check out her site for more of the amazing things people are doing to help out the Nielson family.

How this silent auction works:

1) Please place your bid by leaving a comment with your Bid Amount, your name and your email address in the comments section of the item you are bidding on. Check the comments frequently to see the most recent High Bid.

2) Following the close of the auction, I will contact the winner (make sure your comment bid includes an email address or link to your blog or some way to contact you). The winner will pay the amount of their winning bid to the Stephanie and Christian PayPal account. The winner will then forward the PayPal receipt to jennyjbutler{at}yahoo{dot}com and I will drop off (if you live in utah county) or mail them their prize.

3) Please bid in increments of whole dollars. The auction will end at 5 pm MST on Tuesday, Sept 9, 2008.

So....first up for auction:

A very fun, functional, and stylish Fleurville Mothership Diaper Bag in pink. I will go for the first bid on this one at $25. (that's right, I will buy my own bag if nobody else bids!) It retails for $149.95.

And a BeBe au Lait nursing cover in Pink Parfait... I'll start out the bidding on this one for $10. (again, I'll buy it if nobody else wants it!) This one retails for $35.

I am trying to find more items, but for now...HAPPY BIDDING!!! Oh - and both items are brand new in their original packaging.
